No-bullshit
branding.

Built on psychology. Designed to create emotion. Made to be remembered.

FEELRECOGNISETRUSTREMEMBERCHOOSE

Easy to understand.
Impossible to forget.

Emotion is not decoration. It directs attention, strengthens associations and helps a brand stay in memory.

When a brand creates a feeling, people do more than process information. They form an association. That association makes the brand easier to recognise, trust and recall when it is time to choose.

That is why I combine consumer psychology, strategic research and creative direction. The result is clear enough to understand, distinctive enough not to disappear and emotionally precise enough to stay with people.

A child standing on two red cans to reach a blue vending-machine button

The ad I remembered before I understood why.

I remember an ad about a child who could not reach the Pepsi button on a vending machine. He bought two Coca-Cola cans, stood on them and pressed the button he actually wanted.

I knew nothing about advertising or consumer psychology. I only knew that it made me laugh — and that years later, I still remembered it.

People forget advertising. They remember what it made them feel.

That curiosity became a Master’s degree in Psychology, a specialisation in business psychology and consumer behaviour, and eventually the foundation of how I build brands today.

Strategy
before design.

You always know where we are, why a decision is being made and what happens next.

  1. 01

    We start with you

Choose a questionnaire or a guided call. I learn what your business is, where it is going and what the brand needs to communicate.

  2. 02

    I do the research

I study your market, competitors and audience — what creates trust, what blends in and where your opportunity lives.

  3. 03

    We define the direction

Research becomes a clear strategic and creative direction before a single final design decision is made.

  4. 04

    I create and refine

The verbal and visual system is built as one whole, presented with reasoning and refined through focused feedback.

  5. 05

Agnes, founder of IlluenceFounder · strategist · designer

I want to know why it works — not only whether it looks good.

I’m Agnes, founder of Illuence. My background is in psychology, with a Master’s degree and a specialisation in business psychology and consumer behaviour.

I believe emotion is not an extra layer added to a brand. It is what makes the brand stay in people’s memory. They may not remember every word or visual detail — but they remember how it made them feel.

I use that knowledge to understand how people notice, interpret, trust and choose. Then I turn those insights into verbal and visual systems that feel coherent, distinctive and unmistakably yours.

Based in the Netherlands, I work with businesses across Europe and beyond.

I will listen to what you want to achieve. I will also tell you honestly when a different solution would serve your brand better. You know your business; I bring the thinking that turns it into a brand.

Different businesses. One clear point of view.

A logo is only the beginning. The real test is whether the identity can live convincingly in the world around it.

Before
we begin.

01What is the difference between a logo and a full brand identity?+

A logo is one identifying mark. A brand identity is the complete system around it: direction, messages, typography, colour, imagery, supporting elements and rules that make every touchpoint feel connected.

02Why do you research before designing?+

Because a visual idea without context is decoration. Research helps me understand what the brand needs to say, what the audience needs to feel and how the business can avoid disappearing into its category.

03What if I do not know what I want?+

That is not a problem. You do not need to arrive with a visual solution. My job is to ask the right questions, find the direction and explain why it fits.

04Can I choose logo design only?+

Yes. Logo design is available as a focused service for businesses that are not ready for the full process. It does not include the strategy or wider verbal and visual system.

05How involved will I be?+

You bring the knowledge of your business; I bring the branding expertise. You are involved at key decisions, without being expected to direct the design.

06How long does a full branding project take?+

A complete brand identity usually takes four to five weeks. Timing can shift with scope and feedback, but the process and milestones are agreed before we begin.
